Pratyush Mishra

Pratyush is especially inquisitive of questions in cell biology, epigenetics, and biology, overall. He is pursuing his BS-MS dual degree at IISER Berhampur. He joined the lab for his master's dissertation project. Currently he is working on a novel circular RNA expressed from the KALRN locus in mice. He is trying to elucidate its potential function in mice neural gene regulation.

He loves getting involved in science communication and outreach activities. He is also fond of cultural art, archaeology and Geopolitics.

Master's dissertation trainee

Gopika is pursuing her master's in human genetics and moleculer biology from Bharathiar University, Tamil Nadu. She has joined the lab for her master's dissertation project. She is currently training in the characterization of novel non-coding RNAs in zebrafish model.

She enjoys all things fun including, dancing, drawing and sports.

Priaunsh is pursuing his B.tech in biotechnology from D.Y. Patil deemed to be university. He will be working on his bachelor's dissertation in the lab. He is currently exploring Cas13 mutations which reduce collateral RNA degradation and hence can be used to increase target specificity.

He is trained in classical music, is a skilled photographer and has an eye for some novice bird watching.
